About JWC

JWC is a family company, founded on family values.

With industry-leading technology, ground-breaking collaborations, and a passion for quality, James E. Wagner Cultivation is committed to driving the industry forward, while setting the standard for clean, consistent, aeroponically-grown cannabis. With the GrowthSTORM™ Dual Droplet System™, we aim to continually blaze a trail in the cannabis industry and contribute to the development of aeroponic cultivation around the world.

Why JWC? Clean, consistent, aeroponically grown cannabis.

Company History

Our founding members began growing medical cannabis under the MMAR (Medical Marihuana Access Regulations) with the guidance of their grandfather, James E. Wagner in 2008. Over time, it became evident that they had a passion for cannabis that would positively impact the lives of those around them.

In 2014, construction began in our pilot facility, JWC 1, which would become operational by 2016. Over the next year, we received a cultivation licence for JWC 1, filed patents for our proprietary growing systems, and acquired a location for our expansion facility.

Corporate advancements continued as we commenced trading under JWCA on the TSX Venture in June of 2018. The retro-fit has begun at JWC 2, which will see full integration with the GrowthSTORM Dual Droplet System™, setting the scene for exponential growth.

In early 2019, we welcomed Wellness Farms as the first member of the GrowthSTORM Family and began trading on the OTC Best Market Exchange under JWCAF.

Our Facilities

Consistency starts with control. Our state-of-the-art facilities have been optimized with our GrowthSTORM™ platform, Tempest Trimmer™, Dual Droplet System™, and world-leading HVAC micro-climate control units to ensure the utmost control every step of the way.

15,000 sq. ft. ~1,250 kg/year
Since obtaining our cultivation licence from Health Canada in January of 2017, JWC 1 has allowed us to work toward perfecting and optimizing our processes, while continuing to develop our proprietary technologies. JWC 1 has provided an opportunity for us lay the ground work to scale our processes and, as a result, we have a defined path leading to the future of our expansion facility, JWC 2.

345,000 sq. ft. ~35,000 kg/year
Our new facility, JWC 2, is a retrofit of the former Lear production plant in Kitchener, which was once a cornerstone for the local production industry. Phase one of construction, which was completed in November 2018, achieved eight flowering rooms, a vegetative room, and auxiliary production space. Our head office staff now call JWC 2 home, with projections to employ a total of 400+ full-time employees at capacity.
