Putting yourself in the shoes of a first responder means imagining what it might be like to be the first one on the scene of an accident, disaster, fire, or emergency situation. It can mean long days and short nights, driven by a willingness to help others and a compassion for the human spirit.
We recognize the unique trauma-related challenges of First Responders and the impact these challenges can have on their health. It’s why we’ve developed a new compassionate pricing program to provide eligible patients with a discount benefit on all JWC dried flower and cannabis oil products.
This program is designed to make medical cannabis more accessible to those that choose to use it as part of their individual treatment program. This group includes police officers, firefighters, emergency medical services (EMS) professionals, and paramedics.
JWC is a company founded by patients, for patients. Client advocacy is an important part of our business, and we’re dedicated to collaborating with local partners to support the education and research of complementary and alternative medical applications of cannabis.
It’s about increasing awareness and eliminating the stigma that can exist around cannabis consumption and medical patients.
“Education is vitally important not only to the sustainability of our industry, but also for client advocacy,” says Nathan Woodworth, President and CEO of JWC. “As a patient myself, I have a unique opportunity to share my story and my journey toward improved health.”
