This video places a spotlight on the Lear Manufacturing facility, built 64 years ago in 1955. At its peak, it was home to approximately 1,200 employees, and among the largest individual manufacturing plants in the Region of Waterloo. JWC is proud to be breathing life into this historic structure while bringing jobs back to the community.
Over the coming months, JWC is going to clean and repaint the entire 345,000 sq. ft. structure, in preparation for additional state-of-the-art grow rooms. Once complete, it will be home to one of the most advanced cultivation facilities in the world.
Join JWC’s President and CEO, Nathan Woodworth, as he takes us for a walk down memory lane at the Lear Manufacturing facility located in Kitchener, Ontario.
